We're big fans of comparisons here at PhoneArena, and what better way to celebrate the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 mobile phone than doing a whole bunch of those! This time we'll be doing a size comparison against some of its biggest, angriest rivals - the HTC One, Sony Xperia Z and Apple iPhone 5!
One of the most amazing things that Samsung has achieved with the Galaxy S 4 are the dimensions of the hands. Yeah, it has a super-big 5" display, but that doesn't mean it'll be difficult to hold with a human hand. Samsung has put a lot of effort into keeping the dimensions in check, and to a large extent, it has succeeded. Compared to the HTC One (which has a slightly smaller screen), the Galaxy S 4 will be slightly shorter (5.38" vs 5.41"), a bit wider (2.75" vs 2.69") and a bit thinner (0.31" vs 0.37"). Not bad! If we have to compare it to another smartphone with a 5" display, say, the Sony Xperia Z, things look even better for the GS 4, which will be significantly easier to hold than the rectangular Sony handset. In the image below, you'll also see the iPhone 5, which is naturally much smaller, but also with a much smaller screen - 4 inches compared to the Galaxy S 4's 4.99 inches.
Don't forget that you can always compare the size of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 with that of any other mobile phone out there using our Size Comparison tool!
