Meizu M3 Note Pre-order on POMP Mall

Meizu mobile has unveiled its latest large affordable smartphone in China today, known as the M3 Note. This new handset is the quintessential Meizu smartphone, offering up some very reasonable specifications at a price point that is arguably even more appealing.

First and foremost, it is worth noting that, unlike the Meizu M2 Note, the M3 Note sports a metal unibody build, which makes it both look and feel more premium. The device still sports really solid specs, especially considering its price point. The Meizu M3 Note features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) LTPS display, along with 2GB / 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 16GB / 32GB of expandable internal storage. The 2GB RAM variant of the device ships with 16GB of internal storage, while the 3GB RAM model comes with 32GB of storage. MediaTek's Helio P10 (MT6755) 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this handset, along with the Mali-T760 GPU. There are two SIM card slots available inside of this phone, one of which can be used to expand the device's internal storage. As far as software is concerned, this phone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, on top of which you'll find Meizu's Flyme 5.1 UI, as expected.

The handset packs in a few other notable features. There's a 13 megapixel rear camera with PDAF auto-focus, along with a 5 megapixel front camera. The M3 Note also manages to squeeze in a fingerprint scanner that is embedded into the home button, which can apparently register a print in just 0.2 seconds. Meizu seems to have done well with build materials too, as the phone boasts a 6000 series aluminum unibody and 2.5D front glass.

Starting sales in China on April 11, the Meizu M3 Note will come in a dark grey back/black face or gold back/white face color schemes. We're pretty sure Meizu will announce a global version down the road, so those interested should stay put.
