Meizu mobile is expected to unveil the Meizu m3 note on April 6, the same day as Huawei introduces the Huawei P9 smartphone in China. The company made the announcement on Weibo and also launched a website which has a teaser stating, "Pretty fast, thin, long-lasting" indicating at a few specifications of the device.
On the rumour front, a report by GizOK states that the m3 note is likely to sport a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by a Helio X10 MediaTek MT6795 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It will come with 16GB and 32GB storage variants. It will mostly come equipped with a 3200mAh battery.
The report points out that the Meizu m3 note is expected to be priced CNY 799 (approximately Rs 8,000) for the 16GB storage variant and CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,000) for the 32GB storage variant.
In comparison, the Meizu m2 note was launched in August last year at a price of Rs 9,999. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution and a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit MT6753 octa-core processor paired with a 2GB RAM and the Mali-T720 GPU. The m2 note is available in 16GB and 32GB storage capacities.
Along with the new Flyme OS 4.5 based on Android 5.1, the device is equipped with a Samsung 13MP CMOS camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the Meizu MX6 supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, and 802.11 n/g/b/a Wi-Fi. The Dual SIM smartphone is backed by a 3100mAh battery.
