Over the last several weeks, there have been a number of leaks that have shown us a bit about what we can expect to see in the new OnePlus 3 flagship smartphone. We have seen the device turn up in benchmarks packing 6GB of RAM and we have seen a version of the device hit OnePlus 3 AnTuTu packing 4GB of RAM. A new rumor has surfaced pointing to the price the device is expected to offer.
According to GizOK, the OnePlus 3 will have an introductory price of 1,999 Yuan in China, or around $310. This is apparently the price for the base variant of the phone, and has leaked from a OnePlus employee. This OnePlus 3 version would offer buyers a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
The OS to be Android 6.0.1. Geekbench results show the device scored 2266 points on the single core test with the multi-core test racking up 5012. If the rumored launch date is accurate, we will only have a few more weeks to wait to find out exactly what both versions of the device will sell for and how accurate rumors on specifications were.
At the time, a OnePlus spokesperson told techradar, "According to feedback we have seen much greater interest in the 64GB version of the OnePlus 2 in North America and Europe, so we have removed the 16GB version from those store pages as of this week."
We expect OnePlus mobile to release the phone under an invite-only basis though, so don't expect to be able to buy it easily on day one.
